My Story
My personal history has seen me endure my fair share of trauma and anxiety, which has given me the ability to intuitively understand my client's needs and approach their challenges with empathy. Facing a range of traumas first-hand allows me to coach from experience, not from the sidelines.

My first career was in dance, which became both a passion and a burden. From the age of five, ballet exams gave me butterflies that were magnified by the pressures of my mother's narcissistic behavioural issues. I became a perfectionist, and before long performance anxiety began to pepper my experience. Simply thinking about an audition gave me such high levels of stress that I was met with panic attacks, nausea and negative physical responses.
At the age of 18, I auditioned and was hired as a dancer on a cruise ship. Travelling the world felt like an adventure I was ready to embark on, but this adventure was cut short when a fire broke out on the ship. With only the clothes on my back, I watched as everything I owned went up in flames.
Three years later, at the age of 21, I faced an even more traumatic experience. While performing in a show in a 5-star resort in Iraq, war broke out with Iran. We were desperate to leave as the sound of the bombing was getting louder, but we were refused exit visas and were forced to continue working by men with automatic weapons. We spent four long months enduring the life-threatening ordeal before I was able to negotiate our release. Living with such heightened levels of adrenaline and anxiety for an extended period of time was almost crippling.

I had a deep fear of loss and found myself always waiting for the next disaster. Life had shown me that it couldn't be trusted, and I lived in a constant state of stress. My performance anxiety persisted, impacting my work life. My generational trauma was affecting my personal relationships. Hiding my overwhelm was having a physical reaction in the form of migraines. Surviving my narcissistic parent had left me a perfectionist, trying to control the uncontrollable. In short, I was experiencing a multifaceted collection of anxieties with no understanding of them.
Determined to change, I began a journey of personal development, seeking therapy and uncovering the unconscious patterns that kept me stuck. Transforming those patterns wasn’t just life-changing—it also inspired me to help others do the same.

Without my challenges, I would not have started breakthrough coaching for trauma, helping others to beat their anxiety, or guiding emotional recovery. Defeating my trauma and anxiety is what made me who I am.
